1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, purchases, and use of services provided by Iris Art Scotland, including iris photography, digital artwork, prints, and online orders. By booking or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

3. Services Provided
We offer iris photography sessions, digital iris artwork creation, bespoke prints, gift vouchers, and related products. The exact scope of your session or order will be confirmed at the time of booking or purchase.
4. Booking & Payment
- A non‑refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance is due on the day of your session or before artwork production begins.
- Prices are listed on our website and may change without notice, but confirmed bookings are honoured at the agreed rate.
- Payments are processed securely through third‑party providers; we do not store card details.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your session with 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may result in loss of deposit.
- If we must cancel due to illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a new date or a full refund of any payments made.
6. Iris Photography & Image Capture
- Iris images are considered personal data under UK GDPR.
- By attending your session, you consent to us capturing and processing your iris image solely for the purpose of creating your artwork.
- We will never use your iris image for marketing unless you provide explicit written consent.
7. Copyright & Usage Rights
- All photographs, iris images, and digital artwork created by Iris Art Scotland remain the copyright of Iris Art Scotland.
- You receive a personal licence to display, print, or gift your artwork.
- You may not reproduce, sell, or use the artwork commercially without written permission.
- We will not sell or license your iris image to third parties.
8. Delivery of Digital & Physical Artwork
- Digital files are delivered via email or secure download.
- Physical prints are produced using professional labs and delivered to the address you provide.
- Delivery times vary depending on print size, materials, and courier availability.
- Any delivery estimates are guidelines, not guarantees.
9. Gift Vouchers
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Vouchers are non‑refundable but may be transferred to another person.
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
10. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and delivery information
- Arrive on time for your session
- Follow any guidance given during the photography process
- Ensure children under 13 are accompanied by a parent or guardian
11. Image Storage & Data Protection
- Iris images and session files may be stored securely for up to 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
- You may request deletion of your images at any time.
- We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12. Refunds
Refunds are offered only when:
- A session cannot be completed due to technical issues
- Artwork cannot be produced due to our error
- A product arrives damaged (proof required)
Custom artwork cannot be refunded once production has begun.
13. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Minor variations in colour, tone, or print appearance
- Delays caused by couriers or third‑party providers
- Losses arising from misuse of digital files Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service or product.

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, or engage in activity that disrupts our services.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled by the Scottish courts.
